There are no words to describe these girls, they have it down to a T. Whenever I need a little fashion pick me up I look to Mary Kate and Ashley for inspiration...2 is always better than 1!!!

Project Runway Season 8...

I'm sure all my fellow fashionistas are just as excited as I am for the Season 8 premiere of Project Runway tonight!!! I am equally excited to see what Heidi Klum wears each episode...she never dissapoints. I wonder what plots and twists we'll be seeing this season, I will definitely be doing follow up posts on my favorite designers.

California Love...

I had such a great time on this date with my boyfriend that I felt the need to share it with you. Both of us are huge animal lovers so we decided to go horseback riding at the famous Griffith Park in Hollywood. We were guided in an hour-and-a-half trail ride that offered beautiful panoramic views of the valley. We rode up to Mt. Hollywood and were able to take in the breath taking views of all of Los Angeles from the highest point in the park. The views on the ride up are truly incredible, however the most amazing part of the evening was being a stones throw away from the iconic HOLLYWOOD sign. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially if you're a local resident.

I must also add that this was a great opportunity for me to sport the equestrian look, which I was very excited about. Even though the website through which we booked our guided tour recommended comfortable clothing, I wasn't going to let this stop me from looking every bit the part of the chic equestrian girl, just like the girls in the Ralph Lauren ads.

I highly recommend you book your tour with the Sunset Ranch Hollywood Stables, they were extremely nice and even bumped us up to a private couple tour instead of a group tour. We were able to stop at all the scenic spots and our tour guide kindly offered to take photographs all throughout our ride.

"R" is for Rosie...

I've always loved monogram jewelry and am always excited when I find rare and unique pieces. I recently placed an order for a custom monogram initial necklace, which was hand made by a freelance jewelry designer at a small boutique in Costa Mesa called The Hive located at The Lab...after 2 weeks I finally got the call that my necklace was ready. It was definitely worth the wait...I get so many compliments whenever I wear it, it's so dainty and perfect for everyday wear.

Obsessions...

High waisted shorts are definitely my current obsession. I love that I can wear them casually paired with a flowy top, sandals or wedges for lazy summer days but I can also easily throw on a pair of sexy pumps and bold statement jewelry for a hot summer night out.

Daytime Look...shorts:Urban Outfitters, white pocket racerback top:boutique, wedges: xhilaration...I love them because they're a bit of a mix of a wedge and clog, which is THE trend of the moment. I have to be honest I wasn't too crazy about the whole clog comeback but it definitely grew on me.

Night time Look...shorts:Urban Outfitters(They're the exact same pair as my daytime look shorts but in a darker shade which makes them a bit dressier), top:Urban Outfitters( I ♥ the shoulder cutout detail, it's so subltle and unexpected), leggings: Target, black pumps: Urban Outfitters, round disc bracelet:vintage/Out of Vogue.
