Radiant Rachel...

Rachel Bilson . . . ensembles like the one pictured below is exactly why you're
my #1 muse.  When you're Karl Lagerfelds Fashion Darling, wearing a
Camilla and Marc frock paired with "to die for" Stella McCartney mesh and
canvas wooden espadrilles on a Thursday morning is no biggie.  I seriously
could dedicate an entire blog to Rachel's wardrobe . . .

Clutch Crush...

If I could fit all my belongings in a clutch I would carry one every day. I love pairing my
Red Faux Skin or Leopard Print Clutches (images 4 & 5) with an all black or neutral
ensemble, they add just the right amount of edginess to an otherwise muted look . . .

Grey Skies...

The weekend forecast in Southern California has started off with grey skies and
scattered showers, which I love because it's a rarity. They grey skies couldn't have
come at a better time, I have been on the hunt for the perfect grey nail polish and I've
found it.  You Don't Know Jacques by OPI is the exact shade of grey I have been looking
for, I wanted a dark grey for my manicure line-up to alternate between the usual dark
garnet, garnet red or black I usually wear. I love how OPI has super creative and
playful names for their polishes. Have a great weekend ladies...and if you live in
Southern California I hope you're enjoying the rain as much as I am.

Sneak Peek...

Ah what can I say, when it comes to handbags I'm a true and faithful Marc Jacobs girl.  I thought it would be fun to show you the essentials I carry in my handbag every day.  I'm compulsively neat and organized to a fault in every aspect of my life, including the inside of my handbag.  With this being said I like to keep it clean and de-cluttered which is why I only carry the most essential items...My Red Patent Leather Tusk Wallet which I purchased at Nordstrom a couple years ago and to this day is still in perfect condition, I highly recommend Tusk leather goods, the wear and tear of their products is the best.  As you can see I also carry my Red snakeskin cosmetics bag, my Wayfarer Ray-Bans...love them, my blackberry and my OPI nail polish in case I find myself needing to perform an emergency touch up.
So ladies, I'd love to know...What's in your bag?   Are any of you compulsively neat with the contents of your handbag like I am?   Who are your favorite handbag designers?

Subdued Eyes...

My interpretation of the "Subdued Smoky Eye" for Spring and Summer consists of just
two products, eyeliner and mascara.  I've mentioned before that the 1960's hold a near
and dear place in my heart, the music and fashion of that time brings a smile to my face
and a twinkle to my eyes.  My"Subdued Smoky Eye" is inspired by the sultry sirens of the
60's...Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot perfected this look which consists of refined and
winged eyeliner with double coated lashes paired with soft pink blush, and pale pink lips...
I used two eyeliners for this look both by MAC.
Layering the two liners helps the look last all day.
Fluidline eyeliner: Blacktrack
Liquid Liner: Boot Black
MAC Lipstick: Lustering
MAC Blush: Sincere
