Shoulder Details...

Enjoying the last couple weeks of summer wearing one of my favorite summer dresses (Urban Outfitters).  Even though I've never visited Paris, I feel every bit the role of a Parisian girl who goes from shop to shop with a skinny latte in hand and the latest VOGUE issue on the other in search of her next vintage treasure.  I love the cutout shoulders, it's definitely been one of my favorite trends this season, it's an unexpected little flesh of skin which adds an element of sultry romance to any dress.

Vintage Finds...

I recently found these beautiful round disc earrings at a vintage store and couldn't pass up on them. The detail on them is amazing. They're such show stoppers that other than a cocktail ring, no other jewelry is necessary when wearing them.

Street Style Spotlight on Rachel Bilson...

She leaves me speechless at times...I adore this girl. She is the epitome of retro streetstyle chic.

Braided Beauties...

The summer weather here in Southern California has been unusually cool...well that was up until this week.  We've been hit by 90+ degree weather these last couple of days, which in any other case would be the norm for mid August,  however since we've been spoiled this season with surprisingly pleasant 75 degree weather for the most part, the heat seems to be too much for any girl to be bothered wearing her hair down.  I've been resorting to the ever so chic side braid these past couple of days. I love that it's a fun and girly alternative to the pony-tail, it just seems that you put a little bit more effort don't you think?

I'd Rather Go NUDE...

As I was organizing my shoe collection this past weekend I noticed that almost every pair of shoes that I've purchased this summer have one thing in common...they're all NUDE, tan, or flesh tone. During the summer months I love to lighten things up with my wardrobe, lots of whites, nudes and flower print dresses and nothing compliments these fabrics more than a simple yet stunning NUDE pair of shoes. Take a look...

These Zara Bow Pumps are perfect for those Little White Dresses I live in during the summer, they help enhance that sweet feminine touch without being too over the top.

These are by far my favorite go to pair of shoes this summer...I ♥ them.  They're that sexy strappy sandal I pair with everything-flirty dresses, white skinny jeans, shorts, and rompers. I get so many compliments every time I wear them, and everyone is in shock when I tell them where I purchased them...drumroll...Forever 21, YES! and they were only 19.50

Once again Forever 21 hit it out of the ball park by creating these classically beautiful nude pumps that I pair most often with skinny jeans and flowy tops.

These Skin Snake wedges are perfect when I'm running errands because the wedge heel offers enough support which allows me to wear them all day long minus all the pain that usually comes with wearing high heels.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER!!!

My older sister is turning 28 today. I wanted to take the time to wish her a Happy Birthday and thank her for passing down all her fashion wisdom and hand me downs throughout the years.  Growing up being the middle child wasn't always fun I have to admit...I definitely suffered from the "Jan Brady" syndrome (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!!! ha ha). I always felt that my older sister got to do everything first and my younger sister was spoiled rotten, however I love the relationship I have with my sisters now as adults. Of course the best part of having two sisters is sharing and swapping clothes, accessories, and shoes.

Not too long ago we decided to wear matching "bridesmaid" dresses for our parents renewal of vows.  After many weeks of endless search we found the perfect dress that complimented all of us. Where? Well H & M of course.  I love this dress, it was dressy enough for a formal event yet I am still able to wear it to more casual events.  My necklace is vintage (1950's) it was one of those amazing lucky finds.  The owner of the shop, Out of Vogue, told me the story behind it and I just couldn't resist.  My shoes are from Bakers.

All the girls at school must hate her...

This photograph is just toooo precious...I had to share with you guys!
