JON with no H...

Another reason to love H & M...Jon Kortajarena

A girl can dream...

Lanvin 'Puzzle' Peep Toe Wedge Pump...I had a dream about these last night.  In my dream I frolicked through the streets of Los Angeles wearing these with shorts and a flowy top wearing my hair in a ponytail, my make-up consisted of sun-kissed dewy blush and fluttery lashes.  Yes, I know what you must be thinking, that is a very vivid dream.  However not even in my wildest most vivid dreams would I ever spend $1,280 on a pair of shoes, even if I did have that kind of money at my disposal...I'd use it to go to NYC and splurge at Topshop instead.

Style Spotlight...Carey Mulligan!

As soon as I laid eyes on the images of Carey Mulligan at the 2010 BAFTA Brittania Awards in Los Angeles I had to find out who designed the lovely frock she was wearing.  The gorgeous dress she wore is by Preen 2011 Spring Collection.  I love the fact that it's reminiscent of Old Hollywood Starlets with its voluminous yet lady-like A line skirt and delicate, romantic beaded details in the top bodice.  The YSL Palais Pumps she paired with the dress are perfection,  the electric blue color is just enough to give the entire look a fresh and youthful punch. Her flawless make-up and sleek hair perfectly complimented the entire look.  Outfits like this are one of the many reasons why I wish I had grown up in a different era, one in which women dressed to the nines with gloves, pill box hats and ultra feminine dresses a la Lucy Ricardo.

Best of TOPSHOP...

I have to make it known to the world that I await the day when Topshop decides to FINALLY open a location in Southern California, if you ask me it is long overdue.  Until that day comes Topshop.com will have to do. Here are some of the pieces I'm lusting over this week...most of the pieces are from the Kate Moss AW10 Collection for Topshop.

November Rain?

Take a look at the current forecast for Southern California and tell me how's a girl supposed to enjoy all the beautiful Fall Knitwear that neatly adorns the shelves of H & M, ZARA, and Urban Outfitters just calling her name to be worn.  As strange as this may sound this weeks' SUNNY forecast is putting me in a damper mood...

All I can do is PATIENTLY wait for Mother Nature to simmer down a bit (actually a whole lot) in order to enjoy lovely pieces like this one that I'm lusting over...

I'm in love with this Leather Shearling Aviator Jacket from ShopNastyGal.com although I must admith it's almost identical to my H & M Shearling Jacket.
