"Stone" Cold Fox

Oh let me begin to list the reasons why I adore Emma Stone . . . she can pull off any hair color, she's funny, she's gorgeous yet relatable and not to mention extremely talented in her craft.  Doesn't she look like a porcelain doll? Seriously, that doe-eyed look and those freckles, this girl is going to be around for a while!

June Gloom . . .

Although most Southern Californians dislike "June Gloom" I absolutely loooove it because I know July and August will undoubtedly creep up on us with unforgiving heat waves.  This week the weather has been an absolute dream, 75 degrees during the day and cool breezy evenings (just cool enough to throw on a light sweater).  This is my idea of the perfect "June Gloom" ensemble . . .

What a Stud!

My favorite way to add a bit of edge to a feminine look is adding acessories with studs or subtle spikes, they add just the right amount of that something extra.

Fits to a Tee . . .

There's nothing more classic and effortless than a white cotton tee. I love the clean and crisp look it evokes, not to mention the fact that it allows you the opportunity to add a punch of color for fun. Oh and by the way how handsome do men look in white tee, jeans, belt, and a classic watch . . . so understated yet classic.

Up Up and away. . .

As I come to the realization that the temperatures will invevitably begin to soar for the next couple of months I find myself looking for creative ways to pull my hair back yet still look pulled together.  This past weekend I came to the simple conclusion that my hair is simply too long to wear down on 80+degree days, let alone 90 degree days. I love long and flowy curls but up up and away from my face they'll have to go until the fall.

Zara lace pumps ... I am obsessed with these ultra feminine lace beauties, I got so many compliments the first time I wore them.

Sweetheart Valentine . . .

I was perusing through the beauty section at my local Target recently and saw a Revlon Ad with the gorgeous Emma Stone in it. The ad was for the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain.  Needless to say I was sold after seeing how bold and beautiful the lip stains looked on the lovely Miss. Stone.  I purchased the Lip Stain in the shade "Sweetheart Valentine" and I am obsessed with this product. It's a bright yet wearable pink shade. I apply it in the morning and it lasts all day long, in fact it wears off beautifully, by the afternoon it's a light pink natural shade.

Iconic Los Angeles Views . . .

One of my favorite places to frequent in LA is Griffith Park. You can opt to run/drive or go horseback riding up the trails. Either way when you reach the top you get a bird eyes view of the Iconic Hollywood sign which is truly surreal each and every time, no matter how many times I've seen it.

We recently had a day off so we decided to do a little shopping at The Grove and then visit The Griffith Observatory which is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park, just above the Los Feliz neighborhood. It was the perfect way to spend a much needed day off.

Only in LA would you be able to find a Bakery that specializes in faux donuts, hence fonuts! Clever don't you think? You can check them out here! They're not healthy by any means but the fact that they're baked/steamed and not fried makes me feel less guilty about indulging in this delectable treat, I highly recommend you try their Strawberry mini donuts.
