California Love...

I had such a great time on this date with my boyfriend that I felt the need to share it with you. Both of us are huge animal lovers so we decided to go horseback riding at the famous Griffith Park in Hollywood. We were guided in an hour-and-a-half trail ride that offered beautiful panoramic views of the valley. We rode up to Mt. Hollywood and were able to take in the breath taking views of all of Los Angeles from the highest point in the park. The views on the ride up are truly incredible, however the most amazing part of the evening was being a stones throw away from the iconic HOLLYWOOD sign. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially if you're a local resident.

I must also add that this was a great opportunity for me to sport the equestrian look, which I was very excited about. Even though the website through which we booked our guided tour recommended comfortable clothing, I wasn't going to let this stop me from looking every bit the part of the chic equestrian girl, just like the girls in the Ralph Lauren ads.

I highly recommend you book your tour with the Sunset Ranch Hollywood Stables, they were extremely nice and even bumped us up to a private couple tour instead of a group tour. We were able to stop at all the scenic spots and our tour guide kindly offered to take photographs all throughout our ride.
