I heart H & M . . .

When H & M headed West a couple years ago I was beyond excited. In fact, I remember being in the insanely long line on the opening day for the South Coast Plaza location with one my dear friends. I love that they have affordable garments without comprimising quality. On a recent visit to H & M I found the perfect pair of nude wedges at a great price. The quality and look is just as refined as designer brands yet they only cost a fraction of the price. I can't wait to wear them and I love that they'll transition effortlessly with my Fall wardrobe as well.

Not only is this post dedicated to all the beautiful garments at Zara, but also consider this my shameless plug to friends, family, and my boy that for future birthdays and Christmas a Zara gift card would be the perfect gift card for yours truly. Although I'm on a major shopping diet I looooooved this sequined dress so much that I cleaned out my closet and sold some items that I hadn't worn in years and used the profit to buy this little number. It was the last one in my size too, it was meant to be.

   Not too long ago I discovered an online boutique that is an absolute dream. I seriously lust and swoon over every single item on their site. The best part about Emerson Made is that it's very much hands on by Emerson herself (yup that's her, the lovely blonde in the images below modeling her own designs)  Emerson does all the photographs, styling, design, content, collages, and artwork associated with EmersonMade. Ryan, her husband and partner takes shots of Emerson and is Emerson's Right Hand Man in all matters of life art and work. Talk about a match made in heaven. You can see the full boutique here!

This is hands down THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, ROMANTIC AND SWEET wedding video I've ever seen. These two make a beautiful couple. Not only is Rachael stunning (doesn't she look just like Adriana Lima?)  she's also extremely talented . . . after planning her own wedding she decided to go into the wedding planning business, you can see her work here!

One of my daily reads is The Glitter Guide which is spearheaded by the lovely Taylor Sterling of Sterling Style. Foodie Fitness Friday . . .

The weather has been so warm and humid lately that the tought of a hot dish is truly unappealing.  I wanted to prepare a fresh and light meal that was quick and easy, since George and I don't eat red meat we rely on seafood as a source of lean protein.  I prepared Seafood Shish Kabobs that consisted of shrimp, imitation crab meat, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. The total preparation time is about 10 mins and each Shish Kabob is under 100 calories. For dessert we had fresh berries purchased from our local Farmers Market.
